power of women & shopping
hey yall hey!
still on a lil break, but i had to tell yall about this event i went to! hosted by the one & only @lilmissjbstyle at Tory Burch! you read that right, at Tory Burch! they were so stinking nice! everything was absolutely perfect! the staff, the ladies JB invited, the macaroons, and the fashion were absolutely perfect!
you know how you’re super excited for an event to happen, but then the day of comes & you’re super tired & a little bit out of it? naturally, you think about cancelling and making excuses that the host will more than likely understand…i got really really close to doing just that! i had my excuse and everything! 1. i had only gotten 1.5 hours of sleep the previous night & 2. i came to the event 2 hours early because i put it in my calendar incorrectly, lol. i was completely out of it, man! but i sucked it up and stuck around those 2 hours so i could support my girl and thank baby Jesus that i did! playing dress up is usually always a good time, but you add great people in the mix and it gets even better, PLUS we were served champagne while playing in luxurious fashions by the Tory Burch. we literally ended up saying that Tory is for everybody by the end of the night because we all supported whatever another woman tried on or just picked out. then, of course, we had to do some role playing because you know our regular degular selves weren’t ready for how beautiful the selections were! there was Mickey (@fashionalyn), the English Queen (@tambariw) and the Southern Belle (@me). lol, it was a really good time! & i hope everyone got a chance to check out my insta story because we were acting up!
by the end of the night we were all bonded and began to discuss more serious topics like self-esteem and life goals. we started off being mostly strangers and by the end we were sisters and friends encouraging each other in the middle of a Tory Burch store! i’m still wrapping my head around it, lol. it was a beautiful way to kick off the week and i’m still keeping these ladies in my mind for simply being so kind and fun!
